To turn leading UK tyre distributor Oak Tyres into a supplier, with an exciting brand and launch material for their new high-end tyre range.
It needed instant traction to crack the notoriously difficult-to-enter tyre market, where established brands dominate because of public concern for safety with lesser-known ones.
The best tyre brands have impactful names, so we came up with Davanti - an emotive, Italian word with historical links to racing and winning.
A professional look-and-feel was crucial too, so the branding we created purposefully reflected trends in logotypes, colour and tone to visually position Davanti amongst the established tyre brands.
And because motorsports is synonymous with grids on racetracks and chequered flags, we developed a versatile graphical grid system to bring consistency and structure to the Davanti collateral. This can be easily developed by Oak’s in-house design team as the brand grows.
Davanti got an almost immediate grip on the tyre marketplace, establishing itself as a reputable brand, and over-achieving sales estimations by driving many distributors to stock the new tyre range.
The ever-expanding range is now available worldwide, and the brand’s success can be seen in Davanti’s long-term sponsorship of Everton FC, where they are the Premier League club’s Official Tyre Partner.
